Saturday AM was busy for
everyone

(my apologies up front
for not getting pictures of everyone - being our first-time event, helping
setup, working
the corners, racing, etc., my mind and focus wasn't on photography or
making sure it was all captured)

The Club Trailer was
being setup for timing coordination and recording, with cables, timing
board and all the necessary lights being put into position.
Jim & Leslie headed up
this effort with lots of assistance from Nancy, Linda, Mo & Candy |

The racer's walked the
course while other CTV workers assembled the corner worker tents,
positioned ice chests and brooms |

I forgot to grab a
picture of the timing boards which Marvin built - they looked great and seemed to work out
very well.
Extra efforts were
expended with the volunteers that ran the labels from the printer over to
the timing boards for the racers to review. As a participant, it was good to be able to
quickly run over to see your time between runs, if you forgot to look as
you came off the track. |

Meeting Time |
| |
 |
David Arthur held the
Corner Worker meeting to announce the Corner Leads,
the assignments as well as providing last minute instructions |

|
|

Meanwhile, the Vettes were lining
up for the parade laps in the pre-staging area - seen here from the Club trailer
@ the staging area |

Shortly thereafter,
the Drivers meeting was held to go over the rules, how the events were
going to be run and a few housekeeping items. |
